Transitional Diaconate Ordination of Zachary Eischeid

May 26 @ 7:00 pm

Invite your friends and family to join you at the Transitional Diaconate Ordination of Zachary Eischeid. Zachary is a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Omaha. He grew up in Elgin, NE and belonged to St. Boniface Parish of Elgin. Zachary started to feel called to the priesthood as early as toddler-hood. He resisted the call while in high school but later chose to attend Benedictine College and major in Theology. It was at his sister’s wedding dance that he had strong feelings he should enter seminary. He now attends Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis. Zachary encourages those considering the priesthood to remember, “You were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness.”
The Serra Club of West Omaha will be assisting the Archdiocese Vocations Office with the Ordination. Five to six Serra volunteers are needed to help with setting up, assisting in the kitchen during the reception, serving guests, and cleaning up afterward. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Stacey Floersch, VP of Events for our Serra Club, at staceyjoflo@gmail.com.
Let’s fill Saint Cecilia Cathedral and rejoice with Zachary and his family!
