Lunch Meeting In-Person with a Speaker
October 2 @ 11:30 am
Join us for a hot luncheon meeting at the German American Club, 3717 S. 120th Street in Omaha on Monday, October 2, at 11:45 AM. Our speaker, Father Allan Phan, was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, and is the youngest of six children. Come and learn his inspiring vocation story as he shares how he converted from Buddhism/Atheism to Catholicism in 2010. Father Phan was ordained for the Diocese of Lincoln in May of 2019, and currently serves at Sacred Heart Parish in Crete, Nebraska. He has recently become known as “the priest who prays with his dog” because of his four-year-old Golden Doodle, Daisy. He jokes that because he is color-blind, wearing black every day makes his life easier. Father’s favorite saint and biggest inspiration is St. Francis of Assisi. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and fishing.
